My career hasn’t followed one straight line, and I think that’s probably become one of my strengths.

I’ve spent much of my working life in business, banking and finance, credit management, sales, construction, business development and leadership — working with large organisations, small businesses, high-performing teams and teams that had perhaps stopped believing they could perform.

Later in my career, my own lived experience of gambling harm took me in a direction I could never have predicted — and became another lens on the same question: what happens before things go badly wrong, in businesses, teams and people’s lives.

That thinking led me to create Lighthouse Consultancy Group.

A lighthouse doesn’t steer the ship or drag it into harbour. It helps people see what’s around them so they can make their own decisions about where they go next.
